Lead and manage the end-to-end construction of Yardex’s new manufacturing facility. This includes planning, execution, and delivery within agreed timelines and budgets, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to achieve operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for greenfield construction.
- Oversee all phases: design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage contractor selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams for seamless execution.
- Implement robust risk management strategies and enforce safety protocols.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively, and report regularly to senior management.
- Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Approve project schedules, resource allocation, and contractor agreements.
- Control project budget within approved limits and authorize related expenditures.
- Make decisions on operational adjustments to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering; Construction Management or Industrial Management. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in construction project management, preferably greenfield projects in manufacturing (plastics, textiles, or 24/7 operations).
- Skills: Budgeting, cost control, stakeholder management.
- Languages: English – High proficiency.
